What To Expect For 2026

Published: February 16, 2026

I’m about a month and a half late, but here I am explaining my plans for 2026.

If you didn’t see my latest Twitter post, I talked about the delay with my newest album and how I’ll most likely be releasing it this year. On the bright side, the delay has also given me time to work on other (and even better) projects that I’m sure a lot of you will enjoy.

So, what will I be doing this year? First of all, I recently put out a call for someone who can help me make YouTube Shorts. I’ve had a lot of people express interest, but as of writing this, I haven’t found anyone who fits the style I’m looking for (though if you’re interested, feel free to send me a message!). These Shorts will be quick, fun edutainment videos explaining different aspects of music theory, instruments, and other general music related topics. The featured characters will be GT (of course) and Webster. If you don’t know who Webster is, he’s the little blue screen guy who shows up when you enter an album website, and he’ll be voiced as well. In the shorts, GT will act as the straight man while Webster brings his prideful hijinks. The running gag will be something like Webster saying, “Oh, I know the answer to that!” only to get it wrong, and then GT stepping in with, “Well, actually, Webster…”. That sorta thing. I’m hoping to get the first few out in March, though delays can always happen. Still, keep an eye out for these videos, they’ll be super fun to make!

If you wanna know how it would probably look, here's a very crudely designed example I made, just for you:

Next, I want to release at least four new covers/remixes this year. Notice I said “at least,” because I might end up making more depending on how busy things get. I’m currently working on one, and all I’ll say is that it features two very… nostalgic characters. Okayyy fine... it’s Computer Jay and Arti. It’ll be a sort of “X character sings…” style cover, where it’s not just a cover, but a different character singing it. I won’t reveal the song yet, but I will say it really fits those two characters. I’m hoping to release this sometime in March or April.

And last but not least (this is the big one), I’m planning to release an album (as promised), a single, and an EP, spread out across the year but released consecutively. Pretty cool, right? I’m doing this because I want to expand a bit more than I did with More Than Nostalgia. I’ve done the album-and-single approach before and plan to keep doing that, but this time I’m adding an EP mainly for fun and to expand the story a little further. Each of these releases will be part of the new album’s “universe,” so it should be a really fun experience overall.

If it helps, I’ll provide the colors I’m planning to use for the album, single, and EP color themes, but I won’t specify which ones go with which. Do with this information what you will!

…And no... there’s no estimated release date for these just yet.
